What makes instrumental music sound and feel romantic? How does music without text convey the angst, yearning, and rapture of romantic love? On Feb. 21 at 7:30 PM, these questions will be explored in a recital presented by Dr. Chris Bade, clarinet, and Dr. Leon Harshenin, piano. “Romance Without Words: An Evening of Romantic Instrumental Music” will feature music by Liszt, Schumann, Finzi, and Rossini.
