Leaders Who Cook 2026
Dear Friends and Supporters,
For decades, the Historic Hostess House has stood as a gathering place for Grant County—a home for shared meals, weddings, civic milestones, and timeless community traditions.
Now, we are stepping up to the tasting table once again for LEAD Inc.’s Leaders Who Cook to defend our legacy and rally support for the house we all love.
The Hostess House has a proud tradition at this event: we have brought home the championship trophy five times and placed in the top five just last year. But this year, the competition carries a special urgency.
Recent water damage inside the historic mansion has left several areas in need of immediate structural and cosmetic repair, totaling an estimated $10,000. As anyone who cares for a historic landmark knows, preserving these spaces takes vigilant work and steady community investment.
Our goal is to raise $4,000 of those critical repair costs through Leaders Who Cook tips—and 100% of every dollar tipped to our station goes directly toward these repairs.
Here is how you can help bring the trophy—and the funding home to 723 West 4th Street:
-
Tip Our Virtual Tip Jar Today: You don't have to wait for event night to cast your vote! Every single dollar counts as a charitable vote to restore the mansion.
-
Tip In Person: We are gladly accepting tips at the Hostess House in cash or by check. (Please make checks payable to LEAD Inc. with “Hostess House” in the memo line.)
With your generosity, we can repair the damage, protect the character of this community treasure, and secure another victory for the Hostess House.
Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and love for our historic home.
