Singer/Songwriter Series at Eagles Theatre

Aaron Barker wrote two #1 singles in a row on George Strait’s, “Easy Come, Easy Go” and “I’d Like To have That One Back”. George Strait’s “I Know She Still Loves Me” and “I Can Still Make Cheyenne” also hit the #1 position. Barker’s other #1 songs include “Not Enough Hours In The Night”, “Watch This”, and “You’re Beginning To Get To Me”,  Neal McCoy’s “Love Happens Like That,” Aaron Tippin’s “I’m Leavin”, and  Lonestar’s single “What About Now”.
     Although not a recording artist himself, Aaron's voice is heard millions of times a year by millions of people as the writer and singer of many of the radio and television commercials for the Blue Bell Ice Cream Company. These include "Have Yourself A Blue Bell Country Day” and “The Good Ol’ Days”. The current "There's More Than Just Ice Cream in a Carton of Blue Bell" was also written and performed by Aaron.
     Performing with Barker is 1996 GMA Dove Awards’ Male Vocalist of the Year and former host of Prime Time Country, Gary Chapman.  Chapman's career as a Christian singer/songwriter spans more than 20 years and includes eight Dove Awards, four #1 songs on multiple charts, three Grammy Award nominations, and three years as host of TNN's Prime Time Country (1996).
