There is so much more to know now that 2020 has arrived.\n\n \n\nAs a Leader at a local non-profit or education institution\, a governmental official or business leader\, you are a Trusted Voice\, whose influence with your constituency will make such a difference in whether we achieve maximum feasible participation with the Census.\n\n\n\nThe 2020 Census will influence federal allocations for vital programs such as social services\, public works\, roads\, health care\, education\, and so much more for the next decade. The data will inform business decisions\, government planning\, and provide essential information that allows our community to better understand how it is changing. An accurate count is paramount to Shaping Our Future. Over $675 Billion in federal funds\, grants and support are distributed nationally based on census data.  So much is at stake for Marion and every community in Grant County!\n\n\n\nYou are invited to help us take ownership of our Census count by attending a special presentation entitled "Census in Your Community" from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm on 2/10/2020 in Meeting Room B at the Marion Public Library.\n\n \n\nJacqueline Beverly\, Census Bureau Partnership Specialist will share information about how the 2020 Census will be conducted\, the need to hire local people for Census jobs\, and how you and your organization can support Census outreach to improve the accuracy of our Census count.\n\n\n\nCensus Day\, April 1\, 2020\, is less than 90 days away. Your participation with the Census is vital and you can make a difference in the future of our city\, county\, state and nation.
